Compiled in 1893 by William Moens, and arranged alphabetically by
groom's surname, this vast resource of over 1000 pages of marriages in
Hampshire from 1689 to 1837 is an invaluable record, listing tens of thousands of marriages.
Together with an alphabetical name index, the information includes the names
of both spouses, the church they were married in and the date of the
marriage. If also often includes the grooms occupation, and the town they
were from.
