'Family History for Kids', is an in-depth childrens book dedicated to genealogy, written by genealogist Emma Jolly and provides a much-needed introduction to the subject for today's children.
The book is aimed at 8 to 13 year olds and provides children with historical facts and research methods along with fun project ideas to help bring their family history to life. Looking at the basics of genealogy, it shows children simple, practical and inexpensive methods to help them begin to investigate their family tree and discover more about the way their ancestors lived.
