Debrett’s is a specialist publisher, founded in 1769 with the publication of the
first edition of 'The New Peerage'. This genealogical guide to the
British aristocracy evolved into a keystone of British society and is
published today under the name 'Debrett’s Peerage and Baronetage', a
book which includes a short history of the family of each titleholder.
This is an excellent reference book which lists and describes all of
the peerages in Scotland and Ireland as they were in 1825. So if you
have nobility in this region, in this era, it's worth checking it out.
High quality scanned images of the whole of the original book. This CD
has been bookmarked for easy navigation, and pages can be browsed,
enlarged and printed out if required.
