This publication lists approx 3500 licenses for the years 1851, 1852, 1854 and 1855. It was presented to Parliament in 1856. It is arranged by district and includes summaries for each district by year.
The information given (where recorded) includes:
- name of licensee
- name of run
- quantity of land in each station
- number of licenses charged for each station
- license fee
- amount of stock - broken down by horses, cattle and sheep
- assessment of stock
This 69 page report is now offered on CD - fully searchable on all text - names, places and more.
Originally produced by Archive CD Books Australia in 2004, this title has now been remastered and re-released, and includes better searching capability. This CD contains high quality scanned images of the whole of the original book, and has been bookmarked for easy navigation. Pages can be searched, browsed, enlarged and printed out if required.
