Translated and transcribed by William Farrer, and published in 1897, the full title of this book (now on CD) is "The Court Rolls of the Honor of of Clitheroe in the County of Lancaster, Vol. I."
It contains transcripts of the Manor Court Rolls for the period 1377-1567. Also includes a list of the tenants and freeholders in 1443 and a list of the names of jurors for the period 1523-1567. Full of interesting information with many names of people included. This is a useful source for family historians as well as those interested in medieval Lancashire.
