It differs from many other atlases, not only in the style of the mapping but also because it includes rural districts surrounding major towns and cities as well as all the built-up areas.
The atlas is the one in the series of Street Atlases from Ordnance Survey, now covering more than many counties from central Scotland to the South Coast of England.
