With approximately 140,000 names, this Family Archive contains the most comprehensive list ever published of the men, women, and children who emigrated from England to America between 1607 and 1776. It includes the texts of six books by Peter Wilson Coldham: The Complete Book of Emigrants (four volumes), along with The Complete Book of Emigrants in Bondage and its supplement.
Peter Wilson Coldham, the foremost authority on early English emigration, compiled this data from a myriad of original English sources over several decades. The Genealogical Publishing Company in Baltimore, Maryland, provided Coldham's texts for electronic publication.
For the 140,000 individuals included in the CD, you'll often find:
- Age, residence and occupations
