Cleveland cemetery is located on the corner of Russell and Clarke Streets, Cleveland, Queensland. Often cemetery publications record just names and dates, but the rest of the inscription may provide valuable indications of relationships, occupation, hobby, health, cause of death - even the verse can be useful. For some recent burials no plaque has yet been prepared, however, many have a marker indicating the name of the occupant and this has been noted as have any badges, photographs etc.
The inscriptions mostly record information on burials from the 1800s right up until the current time, though there are occasional entries which are earlier.
This publication records the "entire inscription" for each plaque, and lists approximately 2050 names. Maps are included to assist in the location of graves.
