Compiled and edited by G. B. Routledge, and published in 1924, this register of Carlisle Grammar School in Cumberland covers scholars between the years 1699-1924, with some earlier entries of Masters back to 1294.
In addition to the biographical details about the scholars, there are listings of Masters, Head Masters, Assistant Masters, School Caretakers, sporting teams and names on the war memorial, and comes complete with useful indexes of names.
