This CD contains a facsimile of the Bishop's Transcripts for Bath and Wells Volume 5 and Volume 6, compiled by E. Dwelly in 1920 and 1922 respectively.
These cover Bishops Transcripts which are the only remaining source for those
Parish Registers which have been lost or destroyed, and you will find details of
christenings/baptisms, marriages and burials.
Volume 5 covers the parishes of Bath from 1607-1793, as well as Othery (1608
only).
Volume 6 covers the parishes of Bath from 1794-1902, as well as Broadway
1598-1628, Chipstable 1603-1812, Durston 1606-1812, Ilchester 1594-1812,
Northover 1598-1810, and Raddington 1603-1812.
Bath enties cover: St James, St Peter's, St Paul's, and St Michael.
