This book has been written in three sections. The first two are for the shipwreck enthusiast and tourist who may be interested in a spending a week or two on Australia's shipwreck coast visiting wreck sites, graves, memorials to seamen and passengers who lost their lives at sea, and other places of maritime interest.
You'll enjoy the adventure of wandering off the beaten track, and have time to appreciate some magnificent ocean scenery unknown to most people. Follow the 'how to get there' directions carefully and supplement your resource material with local area maps. All graves, memorials and historic sites described are accessible although some of the roads are rough and the walking tracks steep.
The author concludes the book conscious of the vast scope of Australian seafaring history still to be presented to interest readers.
