This is the second in a series being published which will cover free
shipping into New South Wales to 1842. Free Passengers 1826-1837 was released in
2009.
Finding arrivals of non-convicts into New South Wales in the early years of the
colony can be difficult and locating the few surviving departure
records is almost impossible. This new CD-ROM might help locate some of
these mysterious ancestors who swam here or disappeared without trace!
Sourced from a number of early records drawn into one database.
Includes nearly 5,500 records of arrivals and 3,000 departures of free
persons, military and crew on convict ships, whales and trading
vessels. While convict arrivals are not included, convicts who were
moved from one settlement to another are listed.
This price includes licence for commercial and public library use. However, family history and other 'not for profit' societies may order at the Private Use price.
