Published in 1934 this is an excellent and, despite the title, very comprehensive history of the parish from 1066 until the early twentieth century. It contains extracts from documents such as wills, land tax records, 1841 and '51 census material, voters for knights and perhaps most importantly full transcriptions of the parish registers from 1570 until 1837.
Unfortunately there is no index but we have made the CD fully searchabler, so finding people is incredibly easy.
If you have ancestors from this parish, or even from others close to it, this book will be of immense importance and a fantastic research resource.
