Written in 1888 by William Traill, the full title of this work is "A Genealogical Account of the Traills of Orkney, with a Pedigree Table Tracing Their Descent from the Traills of Blebo, in Fifeshire".
This family history begins with an account of the origins and early history of the Traills in England and Scotland. They were settled at Blebo in Fifeshie before 1400. This is followed by a brief discussion of the family in Britain, Europe, and North America; but the bulk of this work provides detailed genealogical information on the Orkney line in particular.
