- All purchases contribute towards higher customer status/benefits.
- Purchases from 1 July 2008 will be taken into account for setting customer status. Any increased status will apply to purchases made after reaching the threshold. (Note: we only update your status once a month. If you believe you have recently moved up to another level contact us and ask us to look at it for you).
- Customers who had status from Archive Digital Books Australasia will
have their purchases and any customer status transferred to a similar or
greater benefit under Gould Genealogy & History.
- Progress to a higher level over time when cumulative purchases qualify.
- Discounted prices are correctly shown on the web site when logged in.
- What products are eligible for customer rewards discount?
- All products except complete sets of police and government
gazettes, which are already heavily discounted and a small number of
others
- All eligible products will show discount pricing when you log in (after
registering and reward status is set)
- How do I qualify for customer rewards?
- When cumulative purchase totals over time reach qualifying levels. On
reaching the qualifying we will set your account to reflect the discount
prices on web site and shopping cart for subsequent orders. You must be
registered and logged in for this to show.
- Family & local history societies - start at Bronze level without minimum
qualifying level. Progress with cumulative purchases up to a maximum of
50% discount.
- Professional genealogists & historians - start at Gold level without
minimum qualifying level. Progress with cumulative purchases up to a
maximum of 50% discount. Qualifications are any of the following.
Register on our web site and email us to set your account/discount to
gold status
- members of a state or territory Professional Historians Association
- members of the Professional Historians' Association of New Zealand
- members of the Australasian Association of Genealogists and Record
Agents
- have a Diploma in Family Historical Studies and evidence of
practising as a professional researcher.
- others who are actively and professionally involved as researchers
may also request Gold status.
- Customers may check their past purchases and current orders under "My
Account".
- How do I get discount pricing?
- When you log in to our web site all qualifying products will show your
discounted pricing and will correctly show in your shopping cart.
- When you order by phone or mail - we will apply this when processing
your order.
- What purchases count towards my entitlements?
- All online, phone, mail, fax or email orders directly to Gould Genealogy
& History.
- What about other offers?
- If any other offers are open, then whichever gives the greatest discount
will apply.
- What about resellers?
- Normal trade discount will apply where this is greater than the standard
reward discount.
- Cumulative reseller purchases can qualify for higher discount levels.
